The best coves and beaches of San Antonio, Ibiza

It’s true that the bay of Sant Antoni in Ibiza brings together many hotels, flats, shops and restaurants. However, it’s also dotted with various unique coves and beaches that all have their own personality and are really beautiful.

Here is a selection of the most beautiful coves and beaches in the bay of San Antonio de Portmany. We encourage you to discover them all!

Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta

The beaches of Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta are two of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza. They are located just a few kilometres from the town of Sant Antoni, in an exceptional natural setting.

Both beaches stand out for their crystal-clear waters and golden sands. It’s practically impossible to resist taking a dip in them! The beach huts on the shore make for a beautiful picture postcard scene. Furthermore, you can see Illa Conillera from both beaches, an island of great ecological value that forms part of a nature reserve.

Cala Salada is a fairly busy beach, with many available services, such as parking, showers and access for people with reduced mobility. However, if you are on the search for somewhere calmer, Cala Saladeta may be a better option for you. It’s an equally beautiful beach, but much quieter.

Caló d’Es Moro

With incomparable sunsets, this small urban cove, located at the end of the promenade of Sant Antoni, is unique. Our Blau Parc Hotel is located here.

Due to the large number of bars, restaurants and leisure facilities, this beach is very popular with both locals and tourists. Many of them come from different parts of the island to contemplate one of the best sunsets in Ibiza.

This easily accessible beach has different services, such as, sun loungers, parasols and skates for hire, public showers, access for people with reduced mobility and a wide range of water sports.

S’Arenal beach

S’Arenal beach, also known as Sant Antoni beach, is the beach you will find near the port. It has very easy access. To get there you just have to cross the main promenade, which runs to the left of the well-known Huevo de Colón (Colon’s egg).

It’s an urban beach, quite long and wide, with fine sand and shallow waters. It’s precisely the calmness of its waters that makes it a perfect beach for families with children. It’s also an accessible beach, as it is adapted for people with reduced mobility.

It has a wide range of services, like shops, businesses, water sports, hotels and flats, and, due to the wide variety of restaurants, it offers an infinite number of gastronomic options to choose from.

It’s also a good place for contemplating a beautiful sunset. You can take the opportunity to take photos or just simply relax.

Es Pouet beach

Just 2 kilometres from San Antonio you will find this beach, right next to s’Arenal beach. Its fine sands and calm, crystal-clear waters are perfect for children.

Its name, Es Pouet, refers to a small well that used to provide fresh water to the town, but which is no longer in operation today.

This beach offers easy access and a wide range of services, such as sun lounger and parasol rental, public showers, access for people with reduced mobility and several bars and restaurants. Its atypical beach bar is worth mentioning, where you’ll be able to enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner right on the beach.
