Es Figueral, a beach with a family atmosphere

Es Figueral beach is located approximately 14 kilometres from the town of Santa Eulària. You can reach it by car or, if you prefer, by local bus.

This beach is located next to the beach of Aigües Blanques and, although it’s not as well-known as the latter, it’s easier to access, has a wider range of services and is also less crowded with tourists.

What will surprise you most about this beach, apart from its steep cliffs, is that it is full of multiple rocky coves. Its waters are crystal clear, clean and transparent, and as they are shallow, they are an excellent option for children.

What to do in Es Figueral?

In addition to being a perfect beach for families with children due to the transparency of its waters, its rocky coves are a fabulous alternative for scuba diving, snorkelling or any other water sport.

It has a wide variety of services at your disposal, among which you will find sun loungers and parasols for hire, a lifeguard service, public toilets, a large parking area and access for people with reduced mobility.

Don’t miss the opportunity to have a drink, lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants you’ll find on both sides of the beach. The Feel Ibiza restaurant or the Dalias Chiringuito are some of the options that will allow you to enjoy delicious rice dishes and fresh fish.

Furthermore, from Es Figueral beach you will have unbeatable views of the islet of Tagomago, an island of great ecological value and of great importance in Ibiza. On this small island you will only find one private house, owned by the German businessman Matthias Kühn, a lighthouse and a beach club.

How to get to Es Figueral?

Getting to Es Figueral beach is not complicated at all. You can do so by car, bicycle or, if you prefer, by bus, taking the road from Sant Carles heading north. By following the road signs, you will reach the beach after less than 5 kilometres.

There you will have access to a fairly large car park where you can park your vehicle. Just bear in mind that this beach tends to be quite busy, especially on weekends, so it’s best to go during the week, avoiding the middle of the day.
