Nudism in Punta Galera: Cala Llosar

This beach’s real name is Cala Llosar cove, but it’s better known as Punta Galera. It is perfect for the lovers of calm and nudism.

It’s very likely that when you arrive, you’ll be surprised to find that no one else has towels or other beach gear. This is due to the fact that it is not easy to access and also not very well signposted. It’s the favourite cove for artists, hippies and bohemians.

Find your little corner in Punta Galera and enjoy the pleasure of sunbathing or swimming naked in the sea. Truly unbeatable!

Diving in Punta Galera

Its clean and transparent waters make Punta Galera the perfect cove for diving. We recommend that you bring your diving goggles and closed water shoes so that you can move around the rocks more comfortably. Its seabed is rich in flora and fauna, so you should not miss out on the opportunity to check it out and enjoy it.

Its rocky platforms act as a natural balcony from where, in addition to sunbathing, you can enjoy magnificent views of the sea and Conejera Island.

Curiosities of Punta Galera

If you like to know curious facts about the places you visit, you should know that Punta Galera was the setting chosen to shoot some scenes of the 1969 film More, which tells the story of a couple who escaped to the island of Ibiza.

Perhaps it was chosen because it’s the only beach in Ibiza that has rocky formations of this style, distributed and superimposed in a flat shape, as if they were small independent viewpoints.

Its name comes from the galleys that used to come here back in the day when there was a quarry in the beach area. Many speak of the existence of a man known as the “cave dweller”, a man who used to take care of the beautiful setting. Punta Galera cove is not easily accessible and hence it’s not a beach recommended for children. If you like hiking, you can get there on foot along a path that starts at the beach of Cala Gració and runs along the cliffs to Punta Galera. It’s a great path to walk on for enjoying the spectacular views.
