There is something for everyone: long beaches of fine white sand, more family-friendly beaches, some more touristy ones, others more secluded, with black sand, pebbles… Every day you can discover a different one!
There’s no better plan for your summer holidays than to spend the whole day on the beach. In Ibiza, you’ll always find one close by and, what’s best is that you’ll be able to enjoy the peace and quiet that the island offers these days in any of its beaches. Most of them are not crowded, and in the more crowded ones the visitor capacity is controlled in order to guarantee safe social distancing at all times. Below you will discover the 5 beaches in Ibiza that you cannot miss during your trip to the island:
Platjes de Comte
Platjes de Comte is located on the coast of Sant Josep de sa Talaia. It consists of several small white sandy beaches and its waters are turquoise in colour. Apart from sunbathing and snorkelling, from this beach you can see the islets of Es Bosc, sa Conillera, ses Bledes and s’Espartar. You can snorkel, sunbathe or eat a typical Ibizan dish in one of the restaurants in the area. Fun is guaranteed!
Cala Llonga
Another beach you can’t miss this summer during your perfect holiday in Ibiza is Cala Llonga, where our Hotel El Pinar is located. Whether you are travelling with family or friends, you will love the beach of Cala Llonga, in Santa Eulària des Riu! It is a beach of fine sand about 200 metres long, ideal to go to with children since it is not a very deep beach and the youngest members of the family can play and enjoy the beach while you sunbathe peacefully on the sand.
The area of Cala Llonga has many hotels, a variety of restaurants, shops, bars and is well connected thanks to the island’s public transport.
Platja d’en Bossa beach
Platja d’en Bossa is the longest white sand beach on the island due to its 2,700 metres of length, divided between the municipalities of Ibiza and Sant Josep de sa Talaia. Being so close to the island’s capital, Ibiza, it is very well connected with the public bus service, although you can also walk there if you are staying in a hotel in the area. Platja d’en Bossa is an ideal beach for both families and friends, as the area is surrounded by hotels, numerous restaurants, discotheques, beach clubs and entertainment venues.
Cala de Sant Vicent
Located in the northern part of the island is Cala de Sant Vicent, a spectacular beach of fine white sand where you can sunbathe peacefully, snorkel and enjoy fresh fish and typical Ibizan dishes in some of the area’s restaurants, such as Bullit de peix. On one side of the beach you’ll find some traditional fishermen’s huts, known as “Casetas de varadero”, and you can also rent a paddle boat or a paddle surf board to discover the incredible cliffs in the area!
Cala d’Hort
The beach of Cala d’Hort is one of the most magnetic places on the island. This impressive cove, which belongs to the municipality of Sant Josep de sa Talaia, has incredible views of the islets of Es Vedrà and Es Vedranell.
Access to this beach is very easy as it has a free car park. The beach has fine sand surrounded by cliffs. You can eat Bullit de peix or paella in one of the restaurants on the beach. Make it part of your travel itinerary!
