Children’s playgrounds
Parc de s’iIlla, with approximately 3,500 square metres, is the largest children’s playground in Ibiza. It is located in the Can Misses neighbourhood, in the city of Ibiza. It has a circuit for bicycles and scooters, as well as many other magnificent facilities.
In Santa Eulalia you’ll find Fantasy Park Ibiza, where children will have a great time on its slides, ball pools, on the trampolines or playing football or basketball.
The best beaches to go to with children
Ibiza has many beaches with a peaceful atmosphere that are ideal for spending the day with the family. They are usually family beaches, with clean, transparent waters, shallow and free of currents.
Some of them are Cala Compte, in San José; Cala Sant Vicent or Cala Llenya, in San Juan; Aïgues Blanques, Cala Mastella or Es Figueral, in the north of Ibiza; Portinatx, also in the north and that includes a children’s playground; or Cala Llonga, in Santa Eulalia, which also includes a picnic area.
Ses Salines Nature Park
The Ses Salines Nature Park, with an area of approximately 16,000 hectares, is a protected area located between the islands of Ibiza and Formentera.
We recommend that you visit the Ses Salines wetlands, a wonderful place for bird watching, as well as the beaches of Es Codolar, Canal de s’Olla, Las Salinas and Es Cavallet.
One of the best things to do with children is to take a bike ride through the park. You will get to know the salt flats, see flamingos and discover this magnificent natural environment.
A pleasant boat ride
A ride on the Talamanca boat has become a classic that children love. You can take the boat in the port of Ibiza (Talamanca boat jetty), but bear in mind that tickets are only sold on board.
The history of this boat dates back to 1932, when the service was launched, and today it has become a great attraction for families with children. They have two classic wooden boats that retain the charm of yesteryear, as well as a more modern boat.
Cap Blanc Aquarium
A visit to the Cap Blanc Aquarium, located in a natural cave known as Sa Cova de Ses Llagostes, is an excellent option for children to learn about Ibiza’s marine fauna.
The cave, which functions as a Marine Species Recovery Centre, is crossed by a walkway over the water that allows you to observe the main species. Don’t miss the small terrace restaurant where they serve sandwiches, pizzas and salads.
